The Far Side Bar and Kitchen

Located between Stockwell and Brixton tube stations the Far Side Bar and Kitchen is a welcome oasis where you can enjoy respite from the hectic hustle and bustle of the Stockwell Road outside.

A comfortable lounge area with two open fires and a secluded beer garden at the rear of the premises make this a pleasant haven at any time.

Friendly staff and a warm atmosphere are on offer including a menu of homemade meals served from 12pm to 3pm all week, extended in the evening until 9pm from Tuesday to Friday. We also serve a substantial Sunday Roast for all the family and brunch is available until 4pm on Saturdays.

Just minutes from Brixton high street, and with a lunch special offering a complimentary drink, we are a good value venue for any lunch-time rendezvous and also accept group/bookings. With the Brixton Academy a 2 minute walk away, we are also convenient for that pre-gig drink or bite to eat.

We offer free private hire on Saturday nights for parties or social events and can accommodate groups of up to 150. Our management team would be delighted to assist with any specific requirements such as music, food, DJ’s or decoration.
